Adolescent Health and Wellness

Adolescent Health and WellnessPediatrics by definition includes taking care of children up to 18 years of age. However, adolescents although still in the "Pediatric" age group have their own "teen-specific" health and wellness concerns. Adolescent medicine is now a recognized sub-specialty of Pediatrics, which specifically addresses teen issues including health and prevention, puberty and sexuality, and importantly the many social challenges that today's adolescents face.

This is why I have developed a specific category for adolescent health and wellness which I hope will be a helpful resource not only for parents but for teenagers as well.
