Immunizations

Immunization is one of the most important steps parents can take to ensure their children's current and future health. Since immunization was first discovered, it has saved hundreds of thousands of lives. Vaccines have proven extremely effective in controlling and even eradicating some major childhood diseases.

For example, smallpox has been entirely wiped out by worldwide immunization. I urge parents to have their children vaccinated and if they doubt that vaccines are necessary, to get the facts from reliable sources before refusing to vaccinate their children.
