Nutrition

Proper nutrition will help ensure your child's normal growth and development, from the very important first few months through the teenage years. It is easy to see, that your child's nutrition will definitely have a long-term impact.

As we are coming to understand the value of good nutrition, it is important to establish good eating habits from a young age. It is never too early to teach children the value of avoiding high fat foods and the importance of fibre, calcium, iron and other minerals in the diet. Understanding the value of and adapting a well balanced diet at an early age has life long benefits.

In this constantly expanded nutrition section, I will review the important nutritional issues from infancy to adolescence.
