BOTTLE FEEDING-WHEN TO STOP?:

Question: My 15 month old is still drinking form a bottle only. At what point should I stop giving him the bottle?

DR.PAUL: Most pediatricians agree that bottle should stop anywhere between 12-18 months so now is the time to try to switch to having baby drink from a cup. It sometimes is difficult to do: So you may have to eliminate the bottle gradually to make things easier: eliminate the mid-day bottle first, then the evening and morning ones. Eliminate the night or bed time bottle last as it is usually is the one most difficult to stop!
