Adenoids and Speech

Question: Do adenoids have anything to do with speech in a 4 year old?

DR.PAUL: Sometimes large adenoids may cause a child to have some speech difficulties, mostly speaking “nasally”. However not all speech difficulties are caused by enlarged adenoids.
