Question: My grandson has been diagnosed as “atopic” by his family GP – What does this mean?

DR.PAUL: This means an allergic tendency. ATOPIC refers to a group of related conditions including: food allregy, ezxcema, hives, asthma nd respiratory allergies.The tendnecy to be atopic runs in families. Some people have one feature, a few or all…it depends on the individual situation.
