Clone of Immunization Schedule – USA

Below is a generalized immunization schedule according to 2001 American health guidelines. Vaccination may be delayed if your child is sick with anything other than a mild cold, or if his or her immune system is weakened by immune-suppressing medications.

DTaP: Diphtheria, Tetanus (lockjaw) and Acellular Pertussis (whooping cough)
Hib: Hemophilus influenza b / Meningitis
Hep B: Hepatitis B
IPV: Inactivated Polio Vaccine
MMR: Measles, Mumps and Rubella
PCV: Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine
Td: Tetanus and Diphtheria only
Var: Varicella (chicken pox)
